ABOUT ME
I am Anna Sanachina, Soprano a Venezia, an opera singer of the great romantic opera tradition.I’m originally from Moscow, but for the past fourteen years now have lived in Venice. I love to sing and when I perform, I always share something unique of myself with my audience. I connect. Sharing my emotions and connecting with people are gifts of my art. EDUCATION I graduated in Voice at the P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow. I then came to Venice with a scholarship from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for talent and merit where I attended the Biennium for Opera Voice at the B Marcello Conservatory in Venice, graduating with first class honours. WHERE DO I SING I am happy to sing for both public and private entities, receptions, entertainment for private parties, church ceremonies, corporate dinners, meetings and events. In Venice, I have participated in numerous private events at Palazzo Pisani Moretta, in Hotel Belmond Hotel Cipriani, San Clemente Palace Kempinski, Hotel Bauer Palladio, Venice Casino, Ca' Sagredo Hotel, JW Marriott Venice, The Glass Cathedral, and many others in different cities. I have sung for Moët & Chandon, Lorenzo Quinn, Jeunesse Global, The Better World Fund, Clipway, Maria Callas Foundation and more. I have participated in several competitions in which I have won awards and in various festivals including the Veneto International Music Festival. In Venice, I have sung in the Teatro Malibran and Teatro Goldoni, Teatro La Fenice (Sale Apollinee), and in Treviso in the Teatro Comunale del Mario del Monaco. I have sung the role of Santuzza in Cavalleria rusticana, Tatiana in Eugene Onegin, Euridice in Orfeo ed Euridice, Mariuccia in I due timidi by Nino Rota. I performed in Venice at the Scuola Grande della Misericordia for the Better World Fund in support of the Maria Callas Foundation during the 2023 Venice International Film Festival. More recently, I sang at the Hotel Cipriani for the Better World Fund during the 2024 Venice International Film Festival, where notable guests included Kevin Costner and Susan Sarandon. |
